HAAARCH!!! is a one day showcase of undergraduate research, creative work, and achievement. The research presented demonstrates the range of scholarship of students in the History of Art and Architecture program ranging from architectural models to research papers. It showcases the expanse of HAA offerings and variety of student interests. It occurs annually during spring semester in the University Art Gallery (UAG) and just outside of it in the cloisters of the Frick Fine Arts Building. The UAG is separated into three areas with stages for student presentations of honors thesis topics in art history, architectural portfolios, and on museum studies exhibitions. The cloister hosts booths on Pittsburgh arts organizations and student internships and acts as a gallery for models made in architectural studies classes. The forum provides students the opportunity to exhibit, present and promote their research and experiential learning activities. It also provides undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about possibilities for research and arts related job experiences.
