Friends of Frick Fine Arts/Wilkinson Travel Grants

The Friends of Frick Fine Arts/Wilkinson travel grants are awarded to fund research that is necessary to student progress and to support travel to give papers at conferences.

Eligibility requirements:

All HAA graduate students are eligible to apply for a Friends Travel Grant. We are typically able to award students up to a maximum of $3,000 from this fund over the course of their studies in the program.

Students applying for conference travel support should also apply to the GPSA and any other appropriate internal or external sources.

Application requirements:

  1. A two-page (double-spaced) description of the activity to be undertaken with Friends/Wilkinson funds.
  2. A detailed budget outlining how the funds are to be spent.
  3. A list of all Dissertation Development Fund grants and Friends of the Frick Fine Arts/Wilkinson Travel grants the student has received in the past or is applying for now, when the funds were or are to be used, for what purpose, and their dollar amounts.

On completion of the funded activity, the student must submit to the Fellowships Director a one-page description of what was accomplished with the Friends of Frick Fine Arts/Wilkinson Travel Grant; a copy will be placed in the student’s file.
