Frances Connelly (PhD '87) is a tenured professor at the the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She has served as department chair, and authored the Global Arts Initiative which brought funding and an endowed professorship to the art history program. Read more.
Elizabeth Betty Asche Douglas (MA '56) is an Professor emerita of Fine Arts & Humanities, Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA. In January 2011, she curated an exhibition of works from the Bequest of Vivian Davidson Hewitt to Geneva College. More than 40 paintings and sculptures, predominantly by Haitian artists, but also including Brazilian, Jamaican, American, and other nationalities, make up the collection. In May, 2011, she led a group of Geneva College alumni and friends on a two-week cultural excursion to Rome and Florence (with side trips to Pisa and Siena). She continues to make and exhibit her own art, which is also offered for sale through her studio/gallery next door to her home.

Alison McQueen (PhD '98) is an Associate Professor At McMaster University and recently published a book from Ashgate Press, Empress Eugénie and the Arts, Politics and Visual Culture in the Nineteenth Century. The book is the winner of a Foundation Napoleon History Prize for 2011.
