Rachel Miller Wins Francis Haskell Memorial Award

History of Art and Architecture graduate student Rachel Miller is the recipient of the Francis Haskell Memorial Award. The award is given to PhD students who work on European art before 1914 in order to travel abroad to conduct research in libraries and archives. Rachel won a grant for 2000 pounds to take a research trip to Goa, India to study the tomb of St. Francis Xavier, which was commissioned by Duke Cosimo de' Medici III in Florence and sent to India in the 1690s.
